Pieris jap. 'Flaming Silver'

Few landscape shrubs match the year-round interest of the Flaming Silver Pieris. Fragrant, white flowers appear in spring. As a backdrop to these small, bell-shaped flowers, the new leaves emerge bright red before aging to pink and eventually turning green with silver-white edges. The leaves are glossy and stay on the plant throughout the winter. This plant is a vigorous cultivar of Pieris japonica, also known as Japanese andromeda, Japanese pieris, or lily-of-the-valley shrub.
